I have the honor to report the condition of affairs of the Freedmen in Buckingham County Virginia, during the month ending June 30th 1866.
The feeling existing between the White and colored people still continue good, the Freedmen are progressing held out for a good and abundant supply, except the wheat which is almost an entire failure in this county.
The Freedmen generally behave themselves very well, and get alone quietly, Some few cases of Misdemeanors having been reported to me during the month. I attended the preliminary examinations before the Magistrates,
