they are allowed all the privileges of the White man, in the Courts, some of the Magistrates of the County, in making preliminary examinations, through
ignorance of their duties, commit some errors, which, however, they immediately rectify, on learning their mistake, there is no disposition shown to do injustice to the Col'd man.
The schools for Freedmen in the County are in a flourishing condition, although the means to procure Books is very limited.
The health of the Freedmen in the County is good.
