Hinds County Miss Dec 21, 1867,

Mr Shotwell or his agent will proceed to measure the corn of each squad as soon as practicable & after retaining sufficient to cover indebtedness at $1.25 pr. bushel will deliver the ballance over to each hand.

The corn shall be measured in presence of each squad. The cotton has been placed to the credit of each hand at 10 cents pr. pound & Mr Shotwell authorized to ship the same
