Respectfully forwarded to the Asst Commr B.R.F. and AL for the State of Miss

Attention is invited to the action of a board of Arbitration (marked Exhibit A) also Bonds in the Court of Chancery Hinds Co marked Exhibits B and C. The proceedings of the case were commenced by J C Dulaney who attached the Cotton crop of James Wiley and others known as the Bodie Plantation for a Physicians claim of ($650) Six hundred and fifty Dollars 

The Freedmen working on said plantation applied to the Sub Asst Commissioner of this Sub District for assistance to recover their portion of the Crop  a Record of Arbitration was therefore ordered to convene as prescribed by Par III General Orders No 19. and Circular No 22 from Head Quarters 4th Military District reported the action thereof to this Office for Enforcement  The sheriff of Madison County also executed an attachment on the Crop grown on the Bodie Plantation at the suit of Richardson vs. Dulaney Dix Wiley Salter and Bodie  The Cotton is now at Tugaloo Station Hinds County
