Vanderford Place Hines Co Miss
Nov 17th 1867 -

We the undersigned Freedmen who were employed during the year 1866, by Vanderford and Rigsdaler having had difficulty in settling our acts with them the Board of Arbitration which was chosen disagreeing and disbanding without arriving at any thing definite agreement we have petitioned Mr. Allen P Huggins Agent Bu R.F. and A.L. to look over our acts and arrange them in a just manner, which he has done and presented, our accounts to us and we being very desirous to arrive at a settlement, agree to abide faithfully by his decision and request that the matter be settled in compliance with his arrangements and acts which is as follows -
