Sir:

I take the liberty of submitting to your consideration the following facts, with the view to ask you if I can have no relief.

I farmed this year with Mrs Reeves, we made a written contract.  I also engaged freedman Edmund Maxey to farm with me.  Both contracts were written by Dr Quinn agent of Mrs Reeves & co-admr. on her husbands' estate.

I understand, the contract to be that she was to furnish 500 bushels of corn & 2000 lbs pork or bacon & 4 mules or horses & I was to have her lands cultivated (180 acres) & do certain repairs, build houses &c on her place & at the end of the year was to pay her 5 pr ct on what she advanced & we were to divide the crops equally.  The contract however read that she was to be repaid all her advances & [[?]] it out of the crops & the balance was to be equally divided.  Under your order, the matter was arbitrated and the written contract
