NARA 257 Bolton Depot January 1st 1868 In conformance to the order from the office of the Freedmans Bureau &c at Jackson dated Dec 30th 1867 ordering a Board of Arbitration between Pinksy Coatsworth E. A. Allen & W, C. Pond & Co, We the undersigned arbitrators, have from the facts set before us - decided that W C. Pond & Co. should hold the Cotton as per Contract of Mr E H Allen with W, C. Pond & Co, and in pursuance of statute's of Mississippi thereon provided for the Protection of Merchants, &c, and that we the undersign Arbitrators do farther agree and award to Pinksy Coatsworth a Judgment of twenty five dollars all he claim against said E H Allen to be paid on demand, to the said Pinksy Coatsworth In testimony whereof we hereunto prefix our names the day & date above enter W Halsmith W J Burnes E. E. Baldwin
