General

I have the honor to make the following report, in regard to the condition of Bureau affairs in this Co.

A good feeling exists between the Whites & Freedmen as a general thing, and if it were not for one, or two, white men, in the Co. every thing would go on smoothly. These parties it is known, have, and are doing all they can to dissatify the freedmen. During the past two weeks, many of the freedmen who have finished their crops of corn, have positively refused to do any other work on the farms, where they are employed.
