After Oct. 15th the crops of all delinquent taxables will be levied on and sold for taxes, which cause great distress and destitution among the freedmen, who have nothing else to depend on. 

Betty Harris, a deranged freedwoman, demands attention. Two weeks ago the physicians decided hers to be a case of temporary insanity; but since that time there has been no improvement, and she is kept securely ironed in close confinement, with no one to attend her but her husband who is compelled to be absent most of the time. 

The freedmen are making better crops than was anticipated.

There has been no other changes since last report.
