John Harris living near Lousville Campbell Co, had kicked his (Brann's) wife in the face and had pounded her mouth with his fist. He accused the woman of milking his cows. Case referred to Civil Authorities Action - not received. 

George Glover colored complained that one Wm Moseley residing near Spout Spring Appomattox Co. had beaten his daughter with his fist in the face until it was very much swollen because the girl was slow at the work assigned to her. Case referred to Civil Authorities. Action - not received. 

Amanda Scott colored complained that one E.R. Horton,  Campbell Co. had beaten her with a club and his fist. The woman had ordered a boy not to catch some chickens which Scott had ordered the boy to catch to take to market. Case referred to Civil Authorities. Action not received.
