Office Asst Supt. B.R.F. & A.L. Sub Dist. Spottsylvania Co Fredericksburg, Va. August 31" 1866 Roberts W.G. Lieut. and Asst Supt. Reports in obedience to Cir No. 6 Head Quars. Asst Comr Va. Jany 29" 1866 - that the affairs of the Bureau, in his Sub Dist. are in a fair condition. A better state of feeling seems to be existing, between the whites and blacks, than at the time of his last report, & hopes it may continue, and that the crops may be gathered & divided without any serious difficulty occurring.
