receiving a Share of the wheat and oats that was planted in the fall of 1865. 
I have told them (they Freedmen) that they must live with and work for their present employers untill the end of the present year. they have without a single exception taken my advice and declare that they will do whatever the officers of the Freedmans Bureau think is right. 

harmony and good feeling seem to exist between the White and Colored people of this County. their appears to be no prejudice (on the part of the White people) against the Freedmen. And if they Three (3) evils mentioned above were corrected or discontinued by the Freedmen, I should regard the new system of free labour an entire success in this County.

Their will be no rations required for this County during the ensuing month. Their is no epidemic amongst the Colored people of this County.
