Q'rs Bureau &c Richmond Va, 6 July 1865 Respty returned to Maj J.F. Millar. Ast Supt &c, as the affairs of the Bureau are not yet organized in Hanover County, you will send an officer to investigate this case, and if the facts justify the statement of the complainant you will cause the within named Robert Allen to be tried by the Provost Marshal of Hanover Co for Assault and battery - Reporting the trial and its results to this office Rd 6 July & retd 6 July 1865 Jas F Millar Capt &c Richmond &c 6 July 1865 Official copy respectfully forwarded to Captain F.T.P.
