Respty retd to Capt A.S. Flagg Supt Freedmen, Approved. The house referred to in this communication is on one of the [[?]]farms about 10 miles from Yorktown, and can be vacated without serious inconvenience to any one-It will be a great
advantage

to the Freedmen in that section of the county to have a Physician located near them; he could take charge of that part of this county and also portions of Warwick and James City Counties-Doct Tinsley has been in the Rebel servise; if it should not be deemed advisable to employ him on that account, I would recommend that he be allowed to move into the house, and practice his profession among the Freedmen and others who are willing to pay him for his services.
