invited to within certificates of residents of City Point as to the loyalty of Samuel Cook I should estimate the value of the property at about fifteen hundred ($1,500) dollars_ The house is at present occupied by Bvt Major Martin C.S., U.S. Vols_ The use of the property would undoubtedly be of great benefit to Freedmen and their families for the residence of School Teachers &c &c
