Rcd & Fowd Sept 14th 1865 N M Curtis Bvt Maj Genl Lynchburg Va Sept 6th 1865 States that Officers of the Freedmens Bureau have given numerous informal orders for transportation on the Va and Tenn R.R, requests that they recompense the R.R, Co' - for same.
