States that some Freedmen have been working a farm in the lower part of King & Queen Co formerly belonging to Robert Roy✓. who has been in the Rebel Service and did not return home until after they had harvested the wheat crop. that said Roy sold the wheat except one bushel for each of them. also state that they have about 200 bushels of corn which Roy will claim unless something is done to prevent him. State that they have received no wages nor no promise of any. &c &c.
