Sam'l Allison was brought from New Orleans by our Army. and was here taken sick. which illness has rendered him unfit to work. he has a home in New Orleans and parents who are able to support him. Anderson was brought by his mother. who was a prostitute, from Georgia. after her death. her effects were sold to defray funeral expenses. leaving him a homeless boy.
