States that he finds by "Returns of Q.M. Stores" for Sept that they have in that and adjoining counties a considerable amount of old condemned or unserviceable property such as Horses, Mules, Carts, Waggons, Harnesses worn out tools, Stores, &c.
Recommends that an order be applied for to drop, or turn over all such property in that Dist, into the hands of the Bureau. Also the two old Saw Mills at or near Newport News.
