on the part of some employers to defraud the Freedman but so far, all the cases that have come to my knowledge have been satisfactorily adjusted.

There have been no applications to the Bureau for aid on the part of the freedmen during the month ending.  And I know of no cases of need that are not cared for by the Civil Authorities.

I regret to say that there is no disposition on the part of the community to assist in any way in the education of the Freedmen.  Although no obstacles are placed in the way, At the same time very little if any aid can be procured, even the Sabbath Schools that have been in session during the Summer & Fall, are being discontinued

The Health of the County is good and generally speaking the Freedmen are happy and contented
