well during the last month, the general attendance has been less than usual. There is a prospect of a change being made in the school now under the jurisdiction of the Abl School Pres. society of Pittsburgh. They have sent away (2) Two of the teachers, and the remaining ones are expecting to be re-commissioned by other associations, but what ones is not yet determined. I think in the course of a few weeks, this school will be in as good, if not better condition than ever.

I have issued Rations to a few of the most worthy of the Refugees, and Freedmen, who are not on account of sickness, and Old age, able to take care of themselves, and who have, in most cases, been recommended for such assistance, by the Surgeon in charge of this Dist. I have since my last Monthly Report received a small amount of clothing for destitute Freedwomen, & children, from the North and am doing as well as possible to supply their wants.

The sanitary condition of the Freedmen is good, and their wants in the Medical line are well supplied,

All of which I respectfully submit.
Very Respectfully
Your Obedient Servant
