Reports in obedience to Circular No. 6 that the affairs of the Bureau in that Sub Dist. are in good condition. State of feeling existing between Freedmen & Whites is gradually and surely improving. some of the religious societies are attaching sunday school classes for the Freedmen, others will follow. Has had but little trouble thus far about the division of crops. Has been called upon to act as Umpire in a good many cases. and his decisions were complied with. without further trouble or expense to either party.
