Reports in compliance with Circular No 6, Hd Quar, Asst Comr. Va. Jany 29, 1866, that a very friendly feeling have existed between the whites and freedmen during the month. The freedmen have generally gone to work for those who employed them during 1866. Those who have had disputes in relation to division of crops &c have generally referred the matter to him for decision and submitted to such decision without appeal to other authority.
