of aiding the Freedmen in their efforts to succeed in their changed Condition

Since my last report, I have had no applications on the part of Freedmen, for aid, the destitute being cared for by the Overseers of the Poor.

I regret to be obliged to report the continuance of the lack of interest in regard to the education of the Freedmen. There is little if any change in that respect since my last report

The health of the Freedmen in the County is good, very little sickness existing among them

Upon the whole I consider the State of Bureau affairs in this County as favourable

Very Respectfully
Your Obt Servt
