The wants of the Freedmen in the way of clothing are supplied as well as they can be with the supply on hand. We continue to receive clothing from benevolent associations in the North and it is distributed with care to the most needy.

The sanitary condition of the Freedmen in the Sub District is good, and their wants in the medical line are well looked after by the Surgeon in charge.
