The health of the Freedmen, in the County is very good, the Small Pox which prevailed to some extent at the time of my last report is entirely eradicated

The severe weather has retarded farming operations, but the late change has caused those occupied in that business to bring all their forces to bear, to make up for lost time. And at present all such are busily employed. The past season has been very favorable for winter wheat. And it promises a rich return

In reference to schools for freedmen I can report no change since my last except that the Sabbath Schools are about to reopen, and that the business of educating them in Private Families is on the increase

Perfect order and quiet prevails throughout the County.
