on Wise farm, also including 62 rations to destitute whites. The whole number of rations found during the month is 744, with the above exceptions rations are issued to the "Old Folks Home".

I have distributed about 400 lbs corn meal in small quantities according to circumstances, which has relieved a great deal of temporary distress. The same was ground from the corn on Wise Farm.

A large number of the colored people have been unemployed from the last month in consequence of the very bad weather and unless the weather turns more favorable very soon rations will be required to prevent suffering.

A very great need is felt here for womens clothing, in a great many cases I find them not half clothed.

(The schools on this farm has not been very well attended. the average attendance for the month was 63 and three teachers. )

All of which I would respectfully submit
