In compliance with Cir No 6 reports the prejudice which the whites have held so strongly since the close of the War is now under new Military rule being considerably smothered.
Freedmen are generally at work, are struggling to erect school Houses and Churches, and have an intense desire for education Ministers there say too much learning is not good for them the freedmen
