In compliance with Circular No. 6, dated Bureau of R.F and A. Lands Head Quarters, Asst. Commr. State of Va Richmond Va, Jan 27th 1866, I have the honor to report that, the Freedmen's affairs of this Sub Dist are prospering.

During the present month, nothing has come to my notice, which would lead me to infer that, anything material to their interest or disadvantage had developed itself.
