The case of Anderson VS Philip A Tracy (reported in January last) was tried in the county court of Fanguin this week and decided against Tracy after the verdict of the jury was known Anderson proposed a compromise. believing thus a full report would  me made to Gen Schofield and the case was settled by Tracy paying about (50) dollars. A full and complete report will be forwarded as soon as possible. The School at Warrenton is doing very well The system of order has not been what it should have been but I believe the teacher has done his best in accordance to his ability A Sunday School has been Established and has 45 scholars and will increase. A Sunday school Library has been provided. At Manassas I have procured a lot the donation of J. P. Baldwin Esq and wish to erect a building for school purposes A School can be sustained of about 50 Scholars I Earnestly hope a school will be established at that point an application for lumber will be forwarded
