I have the honor to submit the following report of the operations of the Bureau in the 10th Sub. Dist. of Virginia, for the month ending May 31st 1867.

The schools in this District are in a good condition generally the reports for the month of May show an increase in the number of pupils, and an evident desire on the part of all that are able, to enjoy the benefits of the schools. An Industrial school was commenced at Alexandria Va May 15th 1867, which is doing well with every prospect of its being a success.
