the Freedmen, or at least very few cases are brought to the information of the authority, who are disposed to take charge of any cases that may be brought to them, the Freedmen are more disposed however to help one another and not allow their friends to go to the Poor house.

The State of Feeling existing between the whites and the Freedmen is improving. The rights of Suffrage to the Freedmen has been the sole cause of a good feeling between the two races. The Freedmen are using their votes and endeavor to obtain knowledge and information themselves, and their children as sent to school as much as feasible in order that they may become useful men and women.
