I have the honor to submit the following "Report of Bureau Affairs" required by Cir. No, 6. from Hd Asst Commr Va.

No cases of personal violence have come to my knowledge.

The Freedmen are working well and quietly- the Registration receives the full attention, but they attend to it and then retire to their homes. I have not seen, or heard of a single quarrel in the entire Co. during Registration.

Work is plenty and hands in demand. The feeling between the whites and freedmen appears to be perfectly harmonious, and a general desire seems to prevail to work
