of Registration in their respective Magisterial Dist and Registered their names. in this county I would say how ever that there were at least 12 who did not avail themselves of that privalage through sickness and other causes but they are prepaired to do so in the 2nd sitting of the Board  I hear of no threats to intimidate them from voting what ever ticket the wish  one threat of this kind was reported to me but upon investigation it could not be substantiated  I told them that it was my duty under Circular No. 9. Bur R.F. & A.L. Current Series to see that they would not be allowed to suffer by exercising their honest right of Franchise And I don't believe there are a dozen colored men in the counties but are aware of that fact. I would respectfully recommend an issue of clothing for the use of the old and the children.
