Captain -

I have the honor to make the following Report of Bureau affairs in this Division in obedience with Cir. No. 6 Series /66 Asst. Comr. Office State of Va.

The main feature of occupation during the past month, in this Division, has been the Registration of Voters which has passed off without disturbance or excitement.

A few cases have occurred between the Colored, and Whites and Colored in which differences have arisen in settlements for labor or otherwise, in which, by request of both parties I have acted as Arbitor.  This is desired as frequently the amount involved is small and the cost otherwise would consume nearly the amount in litigation.

In regard to the cause of Temperance I have to report that meetings have been held with considerable success - the
