Pursuant to Circ. No 6. 1866. Hd. Qrs. Asst. Com. Va. I have the honor to report condition of Bureau affairs in this Division.
 
The general aspect of affairs has not essentially changed since date of last report.

The schools,- day, night and industrial- are closed during the regular yearly vacation, from July 1. to Oct. 1."67.

The crops are under cultivation, but heavy returns can hardly be anticipated; owing to the delay in planting and the unfavorable weather subsequently. It is represented that the general wheat and corn crop will not average more than two thirds the usual yeild.

Employment is being secured to those needing it, and the number of freedpeople, in this division, actually unemployed, at this date
