General:

I have the honor to report through Hd. Qrs. 6th Sub-Dist. the following in compliance with Circular No. 6 dated Hd. Qrs. Asst. Com'r Richmond Va. January 29, 1866.

There has been a Lincoln Temperance Society organized at this place and about thirty persons joined at the first meeting, they hold another meeting next week when they will report to the Executive Committee; other Temperance Societies will be organized in this Division as soon as possible.
