These facts are known and realized by the colored people however ignorant they may be on other matters and with their earnest anxiety to so act and so promote their future welfare it must be expected they will unite politically with their former masters. The formation of a Black mans party in opposition to a White mans party would be attended by innumerable evils and would be disastrous to the community. Such a formation of parties is not probable in this section of the State from the fact that the colored Votes are much in the minority being less than one fourth, and their interests and future welfare are identical with those of the mass of Whites, this is felt and acknowl- [[acknowledged]]
