The new School house is rapidly being erected, and will be ready for occupation by Oct. 1867. Arrangements have been made with the New. York Freedmens Union Commission whereby they engage to supply sixteen teachers for this county, three more will be supplied by the Reformed Presbyterian Association of Pennsylvania, I am in communication with Mr. Lange Treasurer of the Friends Society of Philadelphia who has promised to furnish as many teachers as he can. I am in hope that he may be able to fully supply the other counties in this Sub-District.
I am Major
Very Respectfully
