to the various Magistrates of the Several Districts that they give them the required attention

I am pleased to be able to State that I find very little Intemperance amongst the Colored people of this County and especially at this post where there is a large population of freedmen they are Law abiding good Citizens they also attend their places of Religious worship very strictly and in large Congragations the Schools of the Colored children are not in operation at preasant except one at the County Court House which I am informed is doing well the proper Blank has been furnished the teacher for a monthly report but I have not received it as yet

I am most Respectfully your ob't Sv't
