Pursuant to Cir. No 6. dated Head Quarters Asst. Comr. State of Va. Jany 29th 1866. I have the honor to report, that, the condition of affairs in this division have not materially changed since last report.

The "Temperance" cause is progressing as well as circumstances will allow, but owing to the large number of Societies already organized among the "Freedmen," they do not enter into the organization, with the alacrity which is desirable.
