In compliance with Circular No. 6, Series 1866, Bureau of R.F. and A.L, Head Quarters Asst Comr. State of Virginia, I have the honor to report that, everything concerning this Bureau, during the present month, has, as usual, remained quiet.

The Freedmen continue in the even tenor of their way - characterized by industry and orderly deportment.

The temperance cause continues to prosper in their hands.  Large acquisitions, during the present month, has been made to their ranks.  In fact, a great number of them living in villages and Towns are
