I have the honor to submit the following report of "Bureau Affairs in General" in my Division.

With the exception of the differences created by political excitement a good feeling exists between the Whites and blacks.

The blacks generally are working well and hardly any poverty or destitution exists among them, and I know of but one arrest for crime during the past month.

Very little intemperance exists among the Freedmen.

I think that if a few free schools were established in my Division, the Freedmen would get along as well
