I have the honor to make the following report in regard to the condition of Bureau affairs in this County the present month.

The Freedmen have been quiet and industrious.  There have been very few meetings.  The Freedmen have decided to hold all their meetings away from public places thus keeping away from the disturbing element - bad whiskey.  Their speakers [[evinced?]] [[quiet?]] & a respect for Law & order.  They have [[?]] to carry arms in their [[processions?]] and there is every reason to hope that there will be no disturbances in the County.  The Freedmen are much interested in their school work.
