Sir,
In compliance with Cir no 6 series 1866, I have the honor to report the General Condition of Affairs for this Division as follows

Sanitary Condition- somewhat improved since last report, although a considerable sickness still prevails. Billious Fever and other disease of a malarial type appear to be the most troublesome, resulting from the remarkably wet season probably.

No rations have been issued from this office during the past month, and no applications have been made.

As the season closes, notwithstanding the very unfavorable season, it finds the condition of the freedpeople very materially improved. it finds the the young and able bodied generally with provisions enough to last them through the winter at least, and a disposition to look after and assist the aged and afflicted. there are no colored persons in the Alms House of the county and no disposition on their part to go there. there are some 12 or 13 white persons there
