movements in that direction, one man who discharged four colored men for voting "for a convention" has intimated that if the men discharged would ask him to take them back he would do so, but as yet none of them have returned to him.

There is very little intemperance among the Colored people of my division, on election day, two colored men in the third Magisterial district Spottsylvania County were under the influence of licquor when they voted. 

The inmates of the Bureau Hospital at this place were turned over to the Overseer of the Poor of Fredericksburg this morning with instructions to transport those that were not properly chargable to Fredericksburg, to the Counties where they belonged, at the expense of said Counties. The Poor of the City of Fredericksburg and the Counties of Stafford and King George will I think, be well taken care of by the civil authorities
