The schools in Fauquier and Prince William Cos were not in session during October, but will commence with Nov'r 1867. The following table shows the state of schools in this Sub District in a concise form.

The Hospital for Freedmen at this place was broken up October 31st 1867 and the patients transferred to Freedmens Village. The buildings (12) Twelve in number will be sold Nov'r 15 1867 as per advertisement.
