There seems to be a better State of feeling existing between the whites and the Freedmen than heretofore, the Freedmen being disposed to treat the whites in general with more confidence. 

No organization for the furtherance of the causes of temperance has been effected in this Division though endeavors are being made for that purpose, the Freedmen are not inclined to be intemperate.
