Guns, Pistols, and such other property that was of any value.
On the night of the 25 of November 1867 a party of armed white men ten in number visited the home of Robert Collins and ten other Colored Citizens and took from them their guns & pistols and did assault and beat the colored men in the highway. On the morning of the 26 of November this same party returned to the house of Robert Collins (Colored) between the hours of five and six oclock, three of them entering the house of said Collins and ordering him to take off his coat. Collins, refusing to take off his coat two of the said white took and held said Collins, and a third one fired a gun or pistol and did shoot and kill said Collins.
On the 26 of November 1867 Mr. S. Boyd act coroner summoned a jury and held an inquest on the body of Robert Collins, who rendered a verdict
