General:-
I have the honor to report in Compliance with Cir No 6 Series of 1866 from Hd Qrs Asst Comr Dist of Va, that the General Condition of Bureau Affairs in this Division of the 1st Sub District Va, is good. The wet weather of the present month has prevented much being done by the Freedmen in the way of Farming and has produced some Sickness among them. but nothing of a Serious nature. There is not much demand for labor, but still, all can find employment in this and adjoining Counties who wish it. The Freedmen on the Wise Farm have made preparations for farming and have done as much as the weather would allow in breaking up the Land, and are hopeful that the Season my prove propitious and
